Robyn Frances - Contemporary Artist and Arts Worker
Robyn is a non-Indigenous arts worker and artist with over 19 years experience working across research-led community arts, cultural development and social justice programs, nationally and internationally.
Robyn Frances is known for their work as facilitator and program design specialist in community engaged cultural practice. Robyn is accomplished at program design and development, event management, stakeholder engagement, grant writing, policy writing, procedure development, monitoring and evaluation, and developing training curricula.
Since 2007 these skills and experience have been applied to the arts and cultural sector as a project manager, cultural planner, creative producer, artist, cultural development facilitator, arts educator and researcher. Robyn has a strong performance track record; drawing on their research skills to conceive and develop evidence-based projects that have been recognised by both the arts, health and community sector through awarded funding.
Robyn works as an independent producer in community-engaged collaborative projects, visual arts workshop facilitation and in the development of contemporary cultural policy and planning in both arts and cross-sector contexts. In addition to their work in the arts and cultural sector, Robyn has worked in the mental health, suicide prevention, domestic and family violence, international development, social justice and community development sectors at the local, state and federal level.
